ACOS is the advertising cost of sale, the percentage of revenue generated by Sponsored Products ads that’s spent on advertising. This method helps work out the profitability of an ad campaign. Ad spend and ad revenue is the formula used to give me my ACOS. UK, US and CA all saw low year-over-year increases in the median ACOS. This means that Sponsored Products ad spend growth is outpacing the growth of ad revenue. Germany is the second largest Amazon store by sales only behind the US and offers the lowest advertising cost of sale this is a massive attraction to sellers with low cost per click and strong conversion rates. If I compare marketplace trends this will show me that there is no direct correlation between advertising cost of sale and CPC.
